Inspired Living is a strength training class for the over 60's.
This class provides individualised resistance training programs. INSPIRED LIVING is delivered in a group format with the aim of improving the strength and independence in seniors.

INSPIRED LIVING is a safe and quality controlled strength training program specifically designed for people over 60 to build muscle mass and increase bone density as well as improve strength, balance, gait, flexibility and co-ordination.
INSPIRED LIVING is based on research that has shown strength (or resistance) training not only improves quality of life and well being, but can also assist in the prevention and management of chronic disease such as arthritis, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and even depression.

INSPIRED LIVING provides supervised strength training activities, using a combination of free weights and weight machines, with all exercises being functional to every day activities.
Before taking part in the program, each participant is assessed and a program is tailored to their specific needs. Participants then take part in regular group training sessions, making it a great opportunity to socialise while getting fit.
INSPIRED LIVING caters specifically for all people over the age of 60, regardless of their current physical health or fitness level.
INSPIRED LIVING group training sessions are provided at a rate of $6.50 per session, which is payable weekly or may be purchased as a ten pack. A once-off assessment fee of $55 will also apply.
Qualified instructors supervise INSPIRED LIVING group sessions to guide participants in correct techniques and monitor safety, in addition to providing encouragement and support.
Each participant follows an individually designed progressive strength training program with regular increases in resistance in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Each person is re-assessed on a 6 weekly basis to determine the gains that they have achieved.
